The Uncompromising Jesus Christ

Packaging

In the world of marketing, many factors are considered when presenting a particular product or message to the public. My Hope is Built

The Foundation of Christianity

A key element in how Christianity has survived the test of time and how those who follow Christ can withstand the challenges of the world is the foundation upon which Christianity is built. Instead of a mere philosophy, codified book of rules, lotus of common interests, transitory fad of popular culture, etc. that binds other social groupings together, Christianity is based upon the very real sacrifice of the very real Son of God.

The Trap of Reason

God is the Author of Reason

Reason is most worthwhile, especially when considering important truths. God created mankind with a capacity to reason – a capacity solely in man in this world for it comes from the very breath of God Himself. This ability to reason has presented man with the ability to choose and free will in life, with the knowledge and evidences necessary to make those choices. However, when the pursuit of what is “reasonable” ignores this Divine quality, it can become a trap of man’s own making.

A Day of Remembrance?

A Misplaced Focus

The world has focused upon one particular Sunday as a day of remembrance of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The world entitled this day Easter, although this was not something which God or Christ asked for. Jesus did ask His followers to remember Him, but not in this manner. During the Last Supper, Jesus instituted a memorial which He asked Christians to do “in remembrance of Me” (Luke 22:19, NASU).
