The Changing Season

Wanting What We Want

In his second letter to Timothy, Paul encouraged the young evangelist with these words:

I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.
2 Timothy 4:1, 2 (NASU)

What Makes You Blush?

Emotional People

In sadness it is common to cry tears, or at the very least a fallen countenance. In happiness a smile, a grin, even a laugh. When embarrassed, it is common for a rush of blood to flood the cheeks creating a blush.

An Unfair Change

Maybe it was a game you had never played before and, always right before a move that would benefit your opponent, he\she reveals a rule they “forgot” to tell you. Or maybe it was a game of “cops and robbers” or a variation; you use your weapon against your opponent and he\she suddenly has a “shield.”

Differing theories concerning a proper ethic have been explored throughout human history, ranging from utilitarianism to nihilism to universal moralism. The discussions by philosophers and thinkers can be an interesting study, but in the end any ethic which denies the overall authority and power of God is faulty.
